This mini version of the Cross of Cong that now resides in the Irish History Museum was made and designed by our own goldsmith Suzanne, she also sets each of the stones. Which means we can personalise it to your request - CZs, Diamonds, Coloured centres stones etc.
The Cross of Cong was a highlight of craftsmanship from Medieval Ireland, a time when Ireland was run by Kings and religious artefacts were prized and revered. When a tiny piece of the True Cross arrived in Ireland in 1123, the Cross of Cong was designed and created to enshrine it. The Cross of Cong was produced at a monastery in Roscommon Town and presented to Turlough O Connor, the High King of Ireland. More information is enclosed with a Cross of Cong leaflet.
